2. Will the dock act as a USB hub as well??
Yes. The Thunderbolt dock is essentially a port replicator that uses one Thunderbolt line, to provide additional I/O. The dock supports USB 3.0 (3 ports).
3. What is the voltage rating of the B2B025?
The dock runs off of 12V/6A, and from the image of the dock, it looks 900mA on the USB 3.0 connectors (not the 2.1A required to power/charge a Tablet).
NOTE: There would be an electric bolt next to the SS logo if it was 2.1Amp.
4. Do Apple® Super Drives work with our Thunderbolt dock?
No. This is a known limitation. However, it is not a dock issue on our side; it is an issue on Apple’s side. The specification for SuperDrive exceeds the USB supplied power rating, and is limited by the design of Apple’s SuperDrive.
