To change your Administration settings, access the web interface of your range extender. For instructions, click here.
The table below shows the settings that can be configured under Administration.
| Feature | Description |
| Management | This is available in both Wired Range Extender and Wireless Range Extender modes. This is where you can change the range extender’s admin password, change or add a password hint and back up or restore the configuration file for the range extender.

| Log | This is available in both Wired Range Extender and Wireless Range Extender modes. You can click View Log to view the log and save the file in .txt format. NOTE: Logs are disabled by default.  |
| Diagnostics | This is available in both Wired Range Extender and Wireless Range Extender modes. You can use this tool to check your ping.  |
| Factory Defaults | This is available in both Wired Range Extender and Wireless Range Extender modes. This feature allows you to restore all settings to factory default values.  |
| Firmware Upgrade |
This auto-detects if a new firmware is available. You can also uncheck the Auto update box to stop auto detection. If a firmware is available, click on Update now to proceed.
NOTE: Manual firmware update is also supported.  |
