Finding the KVM's IP address

Once your KVM switch has been connected to your network and is powered up, a Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) server on your network will automatically assign an IP address, gateway address, and subnet mask.

To identify the IP address on your network, use the MAC address or unique device number located at the back of the switch.

NOTE:  If you don't have a DHCP server on your network, the switch will boot with 192.168.2.155 static IP address.

If you want to connect more than one (1) switch to the same network but there is no DHCP server available, do the following:

Step 1:
Connect each switch one at a time.

Step 2:
Change the static IP address of each unit before connecting the next unit.
