Users have reported that the hotkey functionality for switching between languages on certain Belkin iPad® Keyboard models is not working after updating to iOS 18.2.1. This issue was not observed with earlier versions of the iOS operating system.
Impacted Products:
- Belkin BBZ001 Keyboard
- Belkin BBZ002 Keyboard
- Belkin BBZ003 Keyboard
Workaround: Although the hotkey functionality for switching languages is temporarily unavailable, you can switch languages by using the keyboard's globe key and the iPad touchscreen:
1. Locate the key with the globe icon on your keyboard. This key is positioned on the bottom left side of the keyboard.
2. Press and hold the globe key to bring up an on-screen menu of available keyboards.
3. Use the iPad touchscreen to tap on the desired language keyboard to select it.
Once the desired language is highlighted, release the globe key.
