Resolving Windows KB5003637 update issue on the Belkin F1DN104K-3 and F1DN108K-3

Scenario:

My Belkin Secure 4-Port Keyboard/Mouse Switch, F1DN104K-3 and Belkin Advance Secure 8-Port Keyboard/Mouse (KM) Switch, F1DN108K-3 have stopped working with multiple monitors on the connected computers that updated to Windows® KB5003637, which resulted in the KMs to only see the primary monitor.  How do I resolve this issue?

Solution:

Historically, the Belkin F1DN104K-3 and F1DN108K-3 required installing the Windows Multi-Display Driver on any Windows 7 connected client computer supporting more than one monitor.

The driver was not required for Windows 10 until the Windows KB5003637 update was released.   The Windows KB5003637 release includes updates to improve security when using input devices such as a mouse, keyboard, or pen.  This update may result in the mouse to stop working in multiple monitor settings and affect the mouse driver in the Windows Multi-Display Driver, which allows multi-display cursor movement in the KM.

To fix this issue, you can download and install the Windows Multi-Display Driver for Belkin F1DN104K-3 and F1DN108K-3.  To download the driver, click here.
