IMPORTANT: Android™ is not supported with the Belkin AUZ002.
Before you begin, you will need the following to set up your Belkin AUZ002:
- An iPhone or iPad running iOS 11.4 or later
- An audio cable to connect your Belkin AUZ002 to your audio equipment
The Belkin AUZ002 supports 3.5 mm stereo auxiliary cables and SPDIF Optical Audio connections.
Set up the Belkin AUZ002
Step 1:
Connect the USB-C® end of the supplied USB-A to USB-C cable into your Belkin AUZ002. Connect the USB-A end into the supplied USB-A AC wall adapter and plug it into your electrical outlet. The Belkin AUZ002 will begin blinking white when it is ready to be set up.
Connect the USB-C® end of the supplied USB-A to USB-C cable into your Belkin AUZ002. Connect the USB-A end into the supplied USB-A AC wall adapter and plug it into your electrical outlet. The Belkin AUZ002 will begin blinking white when it is ready to be set up.

Step 2:
Connect the Belkin AUZ002 to your audio equipment using either a SPDIF Optical Audio cable or a 3.5 mm Stereo Auxiliary Audio cable (not included).

IMPORTANT: Only a single audio connection can be used at a time. If a 3.5 mm cable is connected to the Belkin AUZ002, the optical audio port will be disabled until the 3.5 mm cable is disconnected.
Step 3:
Hold your NFC-enabled iOS device next to the Belkin AUZ002 to activate setup. The Belkin AUZ002 features an NFC setup feature that will start the setup.

NOTE: If your iOS device does not support NFC, you can alternately start setup by navigating to Wi-Fi settings and tapping on the name of your Belkin AUZ002 under SET UP NEW DEVICE.

Step 4:
A pop-up will appear once the Belkin AUZ002 is detected. The Belkin AUZ002 will be recognized as an Audio Receiver device. Tap on Add to Home to continue.

Step 5:
Choose a location for your Belkin AUZ002. You can use an existing home or create a new home. When ready, tap on Continue.

Step 6:
Choose a location for your Belkin AUZ002. This is the Room you want to add it in your Apple Home. You can choose from a list of existing rooms or create a new room. Once you choose a room, tap on Continue.

Step 7:
You will be prompted to provide a name for your Belkin AUZ002. You can choose to enter a custom name or leave it as the default name assigned to the device. Once you decide on a name, tap on Continue.

Step 8:
Your Apple Home app will connect your Belkin AUZ002 to your WiFi using the stored WiFi credentials in your iOS device. Once on your network, it will add it to the Home and Room that you chose previously.
When it has completed setup, you can choose to view the Belkin AUZ002 in your Home app (View in Home) or tap on Done to finish without opening the Home app.
