To set up the Belkin WIA005, follow the steps below.
Step 1:
Plug the USB-C end of the cable into the USB-C AC adapter.
Step 2:
Plug the AC adapter into an outlet. When power is applied to the Belkin WIA005, the status light will briefly light white, and then turn OFF to indicate that it is receiving power and on standby.

Step 3:
Once the Belkin WIA005 is powered, place the backside of your phone against the top of the pad. The top charging-side of the pad is larger than the bottom and has the word Belkin written on it.

Once placed on the Belkin WIA005, the magnet will engage and align the charger with the MagSafe charging coil in your iOS device. The status light on the Belkin WIA005 will turn white to signify that it is charging.
IMPORTANT: If the status light is orange, then there is an error with charging. Remove and place the phone back on the charging pad to try again. If you have a case on your phone, you can try removing the case and placing the charging pad directly on the back of the phone.
