How to connect a Bluetooth device to the Belkin SOUNDFORM ELITE G1S0002

The Belkin SOUNDFORM™ ELITE Hi-Fi Smart Speaker + Wireless Charger, G1S0002 allows multiple ways to play audio using the speaker. You can cast audio to the speaker over Wi-Fi, stream audio with the speaker through your voice command, or connect a Bluetooth® audio device directly to your speaker or speaker pair. This article will walk you through connecting a device to your speaker or speaker pair using Bluetooth.

Pair a Bluetooth device using the speakers’ physical buttons

Step 1:
Press and hold the Bluetooth button on the top of the speaker for 3 seconds. This will enable Bluetooth pairing for the speaker.

Step 2:
Open the settings app on your phone or tablet. Navigate to the Bluetooth settings and select your speaker from the list to connect it to the Bluetooth device.

Pair a Bluetooth device using the Alexa app

The Alexa app allows you to control Bluetooth connections with the Belkin SOUNDFORM ELITE G1S0002. You can connect, disconnect, and pair new devices through the same section on the Alexa
app.

Step 1:
Open the Alexa app and go to the Devices tab.

Step 2:
Tap on Echo & Alexa.

Step 3:
Tap on the speaker you wish to pair devices with.

Step 4:
Tap on Bluetooth Devices.

Step 5:

The Alexa app will begin searching for available Bluetooth devices to pair with. Any available devices will be listed. Tap on the device you wish to pair with the speaker to finish.

Pair a Bluetooth device using your voice

If you have enabled Alexa on your speaker, you can use your voice to pair a Bluetooth device.

Step 1:
Say “Alexa, turn on Bluetooth”. This will prompt Alexa to turn ON the Bluetooth on the speaker and begin searching for compatible devices.

Step 2:
Go to Settings on your phone or tablet. Navigate to the Bluetooth settings and choose your speaker from the list.

QUICK TIP: If you have previously paired a Bluetooth device to the speaker, you can say “Alexa, connect to….“ (say the device name) and Alexa will search for your device and connect to it.
