If you are having trouble controlling, pairing or experiencing playback issues with the Belkin SOUNDFORM™ ELITE Hi-Fi Smart Speaker + Wireless Charger, G1S0002, rebooting it might help.
Rebooting is not the same as restoring the speaker. A reboot will power cycle the speaker while keeping all the settings. A restore will erase all the settings and revert the speaker back to its factory default settings. If you need help with performing a factory restore to the speaker, click here.
Rebooting the Belkin SOUNDFORM ELITE G1S0002
To reboot the speaker, simply unplug the power cord for 5 seconds and then plug it back in. This will cause the speaker to power cycle and reboot.
Rebooting the speaker will restore the microphone to its default settings. If you had the microphone muted before you rebooted, the speaker you will need to press the microphone button on the top of the speaker again after it comes back online to mute it again.
NOTE: The reset button on the bottom of the speaker is for performing a factory restore and not for rebooting. Pressing the button will not reboot your speaker.
