Step 1:
Unplug the Roku from the power source then plug it back in.
Step 2:
On the Home screen, select Roku Player Settings.
Step 3:
Select network > repeat guided setup.
Step 4:
Select your Wi-Fi from the available networks.
Step 5:
Enter your Wi-Fi password.
NOTE: WPA™ keys are case-sensitive (abc is different from ABC). WEP keys are hexadecimal (0-9 and a-f) characters and are not case-sensitive. To learn how to check the Wi-Fi settings of your Belkin router, click here.
IMPORTANT: If you can’t see your Wi-Fi in the list of available networks, make sure that your Roku device is within the router’s wireless range. Also, make sure that there are no obstructions such as microwave ovens and thick walls that may cause interference with your router’s wireless signal.
Step 6:
Select Done.
Your Roku should now be successfully connected to the Wi-Fi.
If you’re still having problems connecting your Roku wirelessly, try the following tips:
- Make sure the MAC Filtering feature of your router is disabled. Alternatively, you can add the Roku’s wireless MAC address to the list of allowed devices on your router’s web interface so your Roku can connect successfully. For instructions on how to do it on your Belkin router, click here.
- Make sure that there are no firewalls or any software that prevent the Roku from connecting to the Wi-Fi.
