Also, if the keyboard layout of your device is different from that of your Hardware Keyboard, you must change the keyboard language to update the output. Step 1:
Charge the Belkin QODE Ultimate Keyboard Case for approximately 2.5 hours before first use. For instructions, click here.

Step 1:
Adjust the iPad to your preferred viewing angle.

IMPORTANT: Make sure that the magnet at the bottom of the screen connects to the magnet on the base.

On the keyboard, hold down the fn and <...> pair buttons to connect to your iPad, or from the Home screen, tap the Settings icon.

On the Settings menu, tap Bluetooth.

Tap the toggle switch to turn ON Bluetooth.

The keyboard will show up under Devices on the tablet. Select Belkin Ultimate Keyboard to connect.
NOTE: This process may take some time.
Now that you've successfully connected to your iPad, the keyboard will automatically turn ON when the case is set to the viewing position.
NOTE: If your iPad’s Bluetooth is turned ON, the Belkin QODE Ultimate Keyboard Case will automatically turn ON. If you will use another iPad, you will have to connect to the Keyboard Case again.
