The lights on the Belkin Advance N900 Dual-Band Wireless Router, F9K1104 indicate the status of the router and the connection between the router and the devices connected to it. The table below lists the different lights on the router with their corresponding activities and descriptions.

Router Status Light (Front Panel) | N/A | OFF | The router is not connected to a power source. |
White | Blinking | The router is starting up. | |
Solid | The router is connected to the internet. | ||
Orange | Blinking | The router can't detect the modem. It could be because the modem is OFF, is not connected to the router or is unresponsive. | |
Solid | The router is connected to your modem but is not connected to the internet. | ||
Wi-Fi Protected Setup™ (WPS) Light (Front Panel) | N/A | OFF | WPS is idle. |
White | Blinking | The router is scanning for a WPS-enabled computer or device. | |
Solid | The router made a secure connection with a computer or device. Once a connection is established, the light will turn white and then go out. | ||
Orange | Blinking | The WPS connection was not successful. | |
USB Port Light (Back Panel) | N/A | OFF | No USB device is connected or the attached USB device is not in use. |
Green | Blinking | The USB device is still active or in use. You have to wait for the light to be OFF before unplugging the device. | |
Solid | The USB device is connected and being shared on your network. |
