Covers defects in materials or workmanship identified after purchase or installation. These are product-related issues caused by manufacturing or installation fit, not everyday use or accidental damage.

Wear-and-Tear Replacement

Covers damage from normal daily use, including drops, scratches, chips, and everyday wear that is not covered under the Belkin Warranty. This program helps you get protected again quickly when everyday life gets in the way.

What's the difference between the warranty and the wear-and-tear replacement?

The Belkin Warranty covers screen protectors that fail because of a manufacturing defect. That means something was wrong with the product itself, not how it was used. The Wear-and-Tear Replacement covers damage from everyday use: drops, scratches, and peeling over time. Everyday damage is not a manufacturing defect, which is why the two programs are separate.

Is the replacement product free under both programs?

Warranty claim: Yes. The replacement and shipping are both free if your claim is approved.

Wear-and-tear request: The replacement product is free, but a flat $9.99 shipping and handling fee plus applicable tax applies.

Why is there a shipping fee for wear-and-tear replacements?

The flat shipping fee covers fulfillment and delivery costs. It helps Belkin process requests faster while keeping the replacement product itself free.

What do I need to submit a replacement request?

Warranty claim: Dated proof of purchase (receipt or order confirmation) and submission within the warranty period after the issue is identified.

Wear-and-tear request: You must be the original purchaser with the eligible product installed on the originally registered device. Proof of purchase may be requested.

What if I don't have my receipt?

Proof of purchase is typically required for warranty claims. If you no longer have your receipt, Belkin can verify your purchase through order lookup by email or a product photo. Contact the support team to explore your options. Registering your product early is the simplest way to avoid this issue for future requests.

How long does fulfillment take?

Most eligible replacements ship within 3–5 business days of a confirmed request. You'll receive tracking information once your order is dispatched.
