FUNCTIONALITY
Will the adapter’s Port B function without a charger plugged into Port A?	Yes. If the adapter is attached to a 15W capable host, it will prioritize power delivery to Port B. However, if attached to a 7.5W or less capable host, it will shut down.
Do I need to connect an external power supply to Port A if the adapter is connected upstream to an iPad Pro or a MacBook Pro laptop?	Yes, it will function with iPad Pro M1 and M2, as well as MacBook Pro laptops without an external power supply. These devices support more than 15W out of the USB-C ports. You will only need to connect a charger to the adapter if the host device’s capability is less than 15W.
Should I connect a charger to the adapter when using iPad mini 6th Gen and iPhone 15 series?	Yes, the iPad mini 6th Gen and iPhone 15 series require more power than the adapter can deliver without a charger. The adapter will need a charger to function properly with these devices.
Should I plug the adapter into a charger when using USB-C headphones?	There are some USB-C headphones that can function with the adapter with or without a charger, such as the Apple Type-C, Apple Type-C to 3.5 mm, and Belkin AUD005 headphones.
