Lights, button and ports on the Belkin SOUNDFORM™ CONNECT Audio Adapter with AirPlay 2, AUZ002

The Belkin SOUNDFORM™ CONNECT Audio Adapter with AirPlay 2, AUZ002 features multiple ports to connect to your audio equipment along with lights to let you know its status.

The following are the lights, button and ports of the Belkin AUZ002.

Description

USB-C® power port.  This is used for powering the Belkin AUZ002.  This port only supports power input but not data or audio.

Reset button.   This is used for performing a factory restore on the Belkin AUZ002.  This button is recessed to prevent accidentally pressing it.  A small paper clip can be used to press the button when performing a factory restore.

Analog Audio Out.  The 3.5 mm Stereo Audio Auxiliary Connector is used to connect to your audio equipment.  This port supports audio output only.  If a cable is connected to this port, the Optical Audio port will be disabled.

Digital Optical Audio Out.  The SPDIF Optical Audio Connector is used to connect to your audio equipment.  This port supports audio output only.  This port will be disabled if a cable is connected to the 3.5 mm Stereo Audio Auxiliary port.

Power and status light

Microphone.  This is used for adjusting audio latency during playback.  This is done automatically by the Belkin AUZ002.  It does not support voice commands.
