How to use the two-way communication feature of the Wemo Doorbell

The Wemo Smart Video Doorbell, WDC010 features a microphone on the doorbell along with a speaker.  This speaker allows you to use the Home app and the Wemo® Doorbell like a two-way intercom system to speak with anyone near your doorbell.
 
Step 1:  Open the Apple® Home App and locate the tile for your Wemo Doorbell.

Step 2:  Tap on the tile to load the camera view.  By default, the view will go to the live feed.  You can check if you are on the live feed by tapping on the screen and looking for the orange LIVE icon in the lower right corner.

Step 3:  To communicate with someone, tap the Talk button.  When you've finished talking, tap the button again.

NOTE:  If you use the HomeKit® Secure Video service, your voice will not be recorded in those video clips.  However, it will still record the voices of anyone near your doorbell.
