To use a speaker in a Multi-Room Music setup, you must group it with other compatible speakers and devices. This is done by creating Speaker Groups in the Alexa app. A speaker can be part of multiple groups at once but can only play audio from one group at a time.
Requirements:
- The latest Amazon Alexa app
- Two or more Multi-Room Music-compatible speakers or devices
Open the Alexa app.
Step 2:
Tap on Devices.

Tap the + icon on the top right-hand corner to bring up the Devices menu.

The Alexa app will begin to scan your account for Multi-Room Music-compatible devices and will display them on a list. To set up a Multi-Room Music group, you must choose two or more devices from this list. Tap on the device name to select it. A check mark will appear next to it to show it was selected. Tap Next when ready.

Choose a name for your music group. You can choose from the suggested names on the list or scroll down to enter your preferred name. After choosing or entering a name, tap on Save to finish.
