No.  The Belkin AUF001 V2 has no batteries and must be plugged into the power outlet for you to be able to use the speaker functionality.

3.  Is this an intelligent charger?

Yes.  The Belkin AUF001 V2 is an intelligent charger.  It will stop charging once the battery reaches 100%.

4.  Can it be used outdoors?

No.  The Belkin AUF001 V2 is designed to be used indoors only.

5.  What happens if my phone is too far while listening to music?

If your phone is too far, it will lose its connection.  If your Bluetooth device loses connection with the Belkin AUF001 V2, it will stop playing and you will need to reconnect it.
