No.

1.  What frequencies does the Belkin F8Z880 support?

The Belkin F8Z880 supports FM 87.1 MHz through 107.9 MHz.
 

2.  Does the Belkin F8Z880 support mono or stereo sound?

The Belkin F8Z880 supports both monophonic (mono) and stereophonic (stereo) input and output. 

3.  How does the Belkin F8Z880 connect to my phone?

The Belkin F8Z880 uses a Stereo TRS 3.5 mm connector to connect to the 3.5 mm jack of your phone.  

4.  Can the Belkin F8Z880 be used with 24V electrical systems?

No.  The Belkin F8Z880 is designed to work with 12V car electrical systems.  Using any other input voltage can damage the product and will void your warranty.

FUNCTIONALITY

1.  Can I use this to charge my phone?

Yes.  The Belkin F8Z880 features a 5V / 1A / 5W USB-A charging connection.

2.  Can this be used when my car is OFF?

The Belkin F8Z880 will function as long as power is being supplied to it.  This applies to both the USB charging functionality and the FM transmitter functionality.  Some vehicles will turn OFF the power of the 12V ports when the engine is OFF.  Please consult your vehicles user manual to see the function of the 12V ports in your vehicle.

3.  Does the Belkin F8Z880 work with Bluetooth®?

No.  The Belkin F8Z880 uses a 3.5-mm stereo headphone connector to connect to your phone.  Music is transmitted to your car's FM radio via the Belkin F8Z880’s built-in FM transmitter.

4.  What is the PRO button on the Belkin F8Z880?

The PRO button activates the built-in audio enhancement settings to enable the best sound quality from your phone.  Each press of the PRO button activates a different feature:

• One press – Activates the PRO settings.
• Two presses – Activate PRO 1 mode for an audio volume boost.
• Three presses – Activate PRO 2 mode for an additional audio volume boost.  This is ideal for older recordings.
• Four presses – Activate PRO Talk mode which switches the audio broadcast into mono mode.  This is ideal for podcasts and audio books.

PRO mode will be deactivated on each power down of the Belkin F8Z880.

5.  How do I know what station the Belkin F8Z880 is broadcasting on?

The front of the Belkin F8Z880 features a numerical frequency display to indicate what frequency it is broadcasting on and what frequency to tune your radio to.

6.  What is the large C button on the Belkin F8Z880?

This is the ClearScan button.  When you press the ClearScan button, the Belkin F8Z880 performs a scan of the FM frequency spectrum and finds the clearest frequency available and begins broadcasting on that.  Simply tune your car radio into the station on the display and enjoy your music.

7.  Can I save stations in the Belkin F8Z880?

Yes.  The Belkin F8Z880 can save up to two stations in memory for future use.  These can be stored and accessed by using the m1 and m2 buttons above the station display.

8.  How do I change stations on the Belkin F8Z880?

On the front of the Belkin F8Z880 are three buttons used for tuning into a station.

• ( + ) – Allows for manual tuning of stations up by 0.1 MHz on each press.
• ( - ) – Allows for manual tuning of stations down by 0.1 MHz on each press.
• ( C ) – The ClearScan button automatically searches and tunes to the best available signal for your area.

9.  Can I take phone calls with the Belkin F8Z880?

The Belkin F8Z880 does not feature a built-in microphone.  Audio from your phone can be played through the Belkin F8Z880 during a call but your phone's microphone will be used for talking to the other party.

10.  How many devices can I charge with the Belkin F8Z880?

The Belkin F8Z880 charges one device at a time.

11.  Can I use the Belkin F8Z880 to broadcast audio and charge at the same time?

Yes.
