The Belkin BOOST↑UP™ Wireless Charging Car Universal Mount, F7U053 is designed to make charging your mobile devices as easy as setting them on a table.  The charger is Qi™-certified and it can charge your phone wirelessly at up to 10W.  It also combines the wireless charging features with the functionality of a vent mount.  
 
2.  What is the warranty of this product?

It has a 2-year limited warranty.
 
3.  Does this charger have a Connected Equipment Warranty (CEW)?
 
Yes.  It has a $2,500 CEW.

4.  Can this be used with my car?
 
The Belkin F7U053 is designed to fasten to air vents that have horizontal slats.  If your vehicle has vertical or non-standard shaped air vents, this device may not connect to your air vents.
 
FUNCTIONALITY
 
1.  How many charging coils does this feature?
 
The Belkin F7U053 has a single charging coil.
 
2.  How fast will this charge my phone?
 
The overall charging speed will depend on various conditions, including the following factors:

• The apps and services running on your device while charging 
• The temperature of the phone
• The current level of charge on the battery
• The battery capacity
• The condition of the battery

3.  What orientations can my phone be in to charge?
 
The Belkin F7U053 is designed to have your phone inserted in a portrait orientation.  After your phone has been inserted, the mount can be rotated so your phone is in a landscape orientation.
 
4.  What do I do if my phone begins to overheat while charging?
 
The charger is designed to slow down charging if the phone starts to get warm, and will stop charging completely if the phone remains hot.  If you notice that the phone is hot, remove the phone from charging for a few minutes to cool down.  Make sure to turn OFF any apps or services that may be causing the phone to work hard and try charging again.
 
5.  How do I clean the charging pad?
 
You can use a standard electrical cleaning spray to clean the device.
 
6.  How does the charger hold my phone in place?
 
The charger features tension arms that clamp on to side of the phone.
 
7.  How do I place my phone into the charger?

8.  What is the maximum weight the charger is designed to hold?
 
The Belkin F7U053 can hold a device weighing up to 19 oz.
 
9.  Does temperature affect the charging abilities of my charger?
 
Yes.  To prevent your phone from overheating, the charger will lower it’s charging speed.
 
10.  Can I use the charger while I have the heater on?
 
We recommend not charging your phone while the heater is blowing as it will reduce the charging abilities of the charger.  If you do use the heater, we recommend closing the air flow OFF to that vent if possible.
 
11.  Can this charger be used when my car is OFF?
 
The Belkin F7U053 will charge your phone as long as it has power being supplied to it.  Some vehicles will turn OFF the power to the 12V power ports when the vehicle is OFF.  Consult your vehicle's user manual to see the function of the 12V ports in your vehicle.
 
12.  Can I use this charger with a higher or lower voltage power port?
 
No.  The included CLA power adapter only supports a 12V input.  Using a different voltage input will void the warranty and can damage the charger and/or your vehicle.
