IMPORTANT: The Wemo Dimmer must be first set up using the Wemo app. For setting up instructions, click here. Once setup is complete, you will then be able to connect your Wemo Dimmer with the Apple Home app.
Before you begin:

The Wemo Dimmer must be running on the latest firmware. For instructions on how to update a Wemo device, click here.

Have your Wemo account username and password with you. If you do not have an account yet, you will need to create one. For instructions, click here.

Mobile requirements:

The latest Wemo app downloaded and installed on your mobile device. This can be downloaded from the App Store®.

iOS 11.3 or later is required.

Home Data access must be enabled on the Wemo app. To know how, click here.

To connect your Wemo Dimmer with the Apple Home app, your iPhone® or iPad® must be connected to the same Wi-Fi as your Wemo Dimmer. To check this, go to Settings > Wi-Fi.

If you had the Wemo Dimmer associated to the Wemo Bridge, F7C074, you will be prompted to use the Apple Home app to connect directly. This will unlink the Wemo Dimmer from the Wemo Bridge and erase any rules/schedules/detail settings of the Wemo Dimmer only. Once you link the Wemo Dimmer to the Apple Home app, you will need to recreate rules/schedules/automation/details for the Wemo Dimmer.

Step 2: Tap the More tab.

Step 3: Tap on Connect To Our Smart Home Partners.

Step 4: Tap on Apple Home app.

Step 5: Tap on Get Started.


Wait for the Wemo Dimmer to be added.


NOTE: You can also select Suggested Scenes for the Wemo Dimmer or do it at a later time.
