Setting up the Belkin F2CU040

The Belkin USB-C to Gigabit Ethernet Adapter (USB Type-C), F2CU040 helps you to instantly get connected to high-speed internet when Wi-Fi connection is not available.  The steps below will guide you on how to set up the Belkin F2CU040.

Before you begin, make sure to have the following:
 
  • A working internet connection (wired)
  • A compatible computer with a working USB-C® port
    • MacBook Pro® (2016)
    • Dell® XPS 13
  • An ethernet cable
 
Step 1:
Connect the adapter to a USB-C port of a computer.
 
NOTE:  No additional drivers are needed.

Connect an ethernet cable to the adapter.

Step 3:
Connect the other end of the ethernet cable to modem, router, switch, or any RJ45 port.
