Location-Aware Printing is a special feature of Windows® 7 Home Premium that allows your computer to set a default printer for the network. Setting a default printer is important especially if you have more than one (1) network saved on your computer. This feature allows your computer to automatically switch your default printer once you move from one network to another.
In other words, if you are at home and you are connected to your home network, your computer or laptop will automatically detect the default printer for your home network. Then, when you go to your office that has a wireless network, your laptop will then change the default printer according to the network it detects.

Step 1:
Click the Start button and open Devices and Printers.

Right-click a printer then select Set as default printer.

Select a printer then click Manage default printers on the upper toolbar.

Click Change my default printer when I change networks.
NOTE: If you don’t want to change your default printer settings when you move from one network to another, select Always use the same printer as my default printer instead.
Step 4:
From the Select network list option, choose a network.
NOTE: Only the networks that your device has been successfully connected to will appear on the list.
Step 5:
From the Select printer list, choose a corresponding default printer then click Add.
Step 6:
Click OK when you’re finished.
Click the Start button and open Devices and Printers.
