How to change the name of an adapter

When you first set up the Belkin SOUNDFORM™ CONNECT Audio Adapter with AirPlay 2, AUZ002, you are given the opportunity to name it. If you wish to change the name in the future, you can do so with both the Apple® Home app and the Belkin SOUNDFORM app.

Using the Apple Home app

Step 1:
On your mobile device, open the Apple Home app and look for the adapter you wish to rename. Tap and hold on its device tile for 2 seconds and then release to bring up its menu.

Step 2:
Tap on the Settings (gear) icon to bring up the adapter settings page.

Step 3:
Tap on the name of the adapter to rename it.

Using Belkin SOUNDFORM app

Step 1:
On your mobile device, open the Belkin SOUNDFORM app and tap on the Settings (gear) icon for the adapter you wish to rename.

Step 2:
Tap on Rename.

Step 3:
Choose from one of the existing names on the list or create a custom name.

Step 4:
Tap Finish to save the name and be taken back to the adapter list.
