Wemo WSP100 light behavior

The light on your Wemo® Smart Plug with Thread, WSP100 provides information about the plug’s performance and status.  See the table below to understand the behavior of your Wemo.

sf318952-003_en_v1.pngSolid orangeThe WiFi signal is weak.  Move your Wemo closer to your router.
sf318952-004_en_v1.pngBlinking orangeYour Wemo is not connected to the WiFi.  Unplug your router and Wemo then plug them back in.
sf318952-005_en_v1.pngFast blinking orange (about four times per second)The overheat protection on your Wemo WSP100 has triggered and stopped power from flowing through your Wemo and to the device plugged into it.

Allow 1 to 2 minutes for the Wemo to cool down and check the power draw on the device plugged into it.  If you are using a high-power draw device such as a heater, plug the heater directly into a power outlet.
