Troubleshooting Steps for Belkin UltraCharge Pro 2-in-1 Convertible Magnetic Charger

 

 
 

Before you start 

  1. Plug the 45W USB-C power supply into a wall outlet.
  2. Connect the USB-C cable from the power supply to the charger.
  3. Keep the charger on a flat, stable surface. 

Device not charging (iPhone) 

If the device is not charging, check that the cable is securely connected to both the device and the power source. If it’s still not charging, follow the next steps: 

 

  1. Remove any magnetic wallet, ring holder, or metal plate from the phone or case.
  2. If the case is thick, take it off and test again. Cases up to 5 mm usually work.
  3. Place the iPhone on the charging pad and let it “snap” into place.
  4. Wait 5 to 10 seconds.
  5. Look for the charging indicator on the iPhone screen.
  6. Lift the phone and place it back again, centered.
  7. Try a different wall outlet.
  8. Unplug the charger for 10 seconds, then plug it back in. 

Apple Watch not charging 

  1. Place the Watch flat on the Watch puck.
  2. Check the Watch screen for the charging icon.
  3. Lift the Watch and place it back again, centered.
  4. Remove any Watch bumper or case and test again.
  5. Restart the Watch.
  6. Power cycle the charger. Unplug power for 10 seconds, then reconnect. 

Slow charging 

  1. Confirm you are using the included 45W power supply and USB-C to USB-C cable.
  2. Close heavy apps on your phone. Wireless charging can slow down if the phone is working hard.
  3. If the phone feels warm, remove the case and let it cool for a few minutes, then try again.
  4. Re-center the phone on the pad. 

Charging stops or feels inconsistent 

  1. Check for a loose cable. Unplug and reconnect both ends of the USB-C cable.
  2. Move the charger away from other wireless chargers, metal stands, or magnets.
  3. Test with the included power supply and cable.
  4. Restart the iPhone and try again. 

Notes about cooling 

This model uses passive cooling. It has no fan and no cooling switch. 

If nothing works 

  1. Test with another compatible iPhone.
  2. Test with another Apple Watch.
  3. If the charger still does not charge any device, contact support and share what you tested, plus your iPhone model and Apple Watch model.
